Dunnes Stores, Refurbishment

Pavilions, Swords

The construction project at the Pavilions, Swords began at the end of August, during the busy back-to-school period. To minimize disruption to trading, all customer impact works were carried out outside of regular store hours and all deliveries were carefully phased to facilitate store operations. Despite being a live trading environment, PCL implemented a continuous phasing and sectional handover plan to ensure a seamless refurbishment project without the need to reduce stock or impact store opening hours. As a result, the store was able to remain open and fully operational throughout the entire refurbishment period, which was completed in November 2013.
